Mercury Service Award

Mr. Outboard's Watersports Marine Awarded Mercury Marine Service award.

February 6, 2013- Mercury Marine has presented Mr. Outboard's Watersports Marine of De Pere, Wisconsin, its prestigious Service Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award for 2012.

Mercury Marine’s Service CSI Program measures the satisfaction of consumers after having service work done on their Mercury outboard or MerCruiser Sterndrive or inboard. Mr. Outboard's Watersports Marine won the Service CSI Award for its ongoing commitment to providing exemplary customer service, based on the responses of customers who had warranty work performed at the dealership during the past year. A total of 99 dealers across North America qualified for the Service CSI Award for 2012.

The CSI score for each dealer is measured and monitored by Mercury Marine. After warranty work has been completed, Mercury sends out a Service CSI survey to the consumer, asking him or her to rate the service received. To be eligible for the Service CSI Award, a dealer must maintain a score of 90 or better out of 100 in the Service CSI survey. These surveys ask consumers to rate their overall service satisfaction with the dealership, rate their satisfaction with the Service Advisor at the dealership, and also indicate if they would re-visit the dealership again in the future.

Tracking Service CSI scores is a way Mercury evaluates the effectiveness of its individual dealers and of its own policies and training programs.Dealerships that score high in Mercury's Service CSI serveys are recognized through the awards program

New System For AYA

March 15, 2013 Mr. Outboard's Watersports will be conducting Lund Boat's Angler and Young Angler Fishing Tournament with a Catch Photo Release System.

The system will require each team to take pictures of the fish they catch held up against a ruler provided by Lund Boats.  Mr. Outboard's is not requiring spotters for each boat, though the option is available.  If the adult in the boat feels they will need extra help, they will be allowed to have an extra adult in the boat to act as their spotter.

The event will be interactive for onlookers.  Mr. Outboard's will encourage teams to take pictures during their time out on the water and send them back to the Green Bay Metro Boat Launch for family members and other onlookers to view.

Mr. Outboard's is excited to get these kids out on the water for a day all about fishing.

One Giant Step for Female Angler
Marianne Huskey wins first-ever Angler of the Year title in professional fishing

New York Mills, Minn. – (Aug. 23, 2012) Like a lot of us, Shawano, Wisconsin’s Marianne Huskey was bitten by the fishing bug at an early age. Her passion for fishing, she says, “Started young, while fishing for perch on Lake Michigan with my grandfather.” Her desire to catch another and another became overwhelming, and so began her lifelong quest to become a professional angler.

Huskey reached her first goal by entering the professional ranks; and just this year, slid further up that flagpole of destiny by clinching a second place finish in an AIM Pro Walleye Series Pro Qualifier on Lake Superior off Brimley, Mich. That accomplishment alone was a milestone. At that moment, she then became the highest placing female finisher ever in a professional walleye tournament. Read More.
